Pastor Benjamin Swan was born and raised in New Canaan, Connecticut. In 1979 he moved to Denver, Colorado. While attending college he became involved in a life of drugs and alcohol that eventually led to a place of despair. He desperately cried out to God from his heart and asked God for help.
The presence of God came as a bright light. Waves of glory filled his room with mighty power that was so strong he was unable to move for several hours. Some time after his divine encounter with heaven, Pastor Swan moved to New Hampshire where he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. From that point, Pastor's life was completely transformed. A similar experience further affected his life in December of 1981 when he cried out to God to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Lord filled Pastor with yet a whole new anointing, to such an extent, that he could not sleep for three days.
In 1984 Pastor moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. Upon his graduation in 1986 he worked as an assistant pastor for 2 years at Household of Faith in Amherst, New Hampshire. While there, in 1987 he and Cyndie were married.
Cyndie Swan is a graduate of Youth With A Mission in Concord, New Hampshire where she was involved in personal evangelism and traveled throughout the country sharing the gospel. She also attended Rhema Bible Training Center and graduated just prior to her marriage to Pastor Swan. Cyndie is experienced in the area of children's ministry and is an anointed psalmist and worship leader.
As co-laborers in the ministry. Pastor Swan and Cyndie went on to spend two years working at the Village Church in Westport, New Hampshire. It was here in 1989 that their first child, Kelly, was born.
For the next three years. Pastor Swan served as senior pastor for the West Swanzey Community Church in Swanzey, New Hampshire. Their second child, Robert Benjamin Swan, was born in 1990.
In 1994 the Lord led Pastor Swan to establish Monadnock Full Gospel Church in Rindge, New Hampshire.
