Sunday Morning Worship, 10:00

All people are invited to visit with us for an anointed time of praise and worship, as we lift our hands and our hearts towards heaven, in admiration and gratitude for all that the Lord has done.

We open our Sunday morning service by "making a joyful noise unto the Lord" through Holy Spirit inspired music, song and dance. After a time of praise and worship, the Word of God is preached with all power and authority, by our pastor, Ben Swan. The results are always the same: The presence of the Lord fills the temple. His sons and daughters are set free from their burdens, and those who had no hope, walk away strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
Why we worship the way we do...

The Bible Teaches that "God is Spirit; and they that worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth" John 4:23). It is our desire, as His people, to worship Him properly in spirit and in truth. We invite you to worship with us; however if as a newcomer you are unfamiliar with our way of worshiping the Lord, and feel hesitant to take part, please do not feel left out! Often we have told our people to adopt the posture that best helps them worship the Lord. Whether you worship the Lord quietly or join us in enthusiastic praise, let us worship together!

In the Bible references below, you will find what we feel to be the scriptural pattern for spiritual worship.

WORSHIP: We should worship the Lord with our entire being. "Bless the Lord, 0 my soul; and all that is with¬in me, bless His holy name" (Psalm 103: 1)

PRAISE: "While I live will I praise the Lord; I will sing praises unto my God while I have my being" (Psalm 146:2).

SING: "0 sing unto the Lord a new song" (Psalm 96: 1) "I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also" (1 Cor. 14:15b). "Teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs" (Col.3:16)

MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE: "Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms" (Psalm 95:2). "Cry out and shout...for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee" (Isaiah 12:6). "Make a loud noise and rejoice" (Psalm 98:4b).

CLAP THE HANDS: "0 clap your hands, all ye people. Shout unto God with the voice of triumph" (Psalm 47: 1).

LIFT UP THE HANDS: "I will lift up my bands in thy name" (Psalm 63:4). "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord" (Psalm 134:2). "I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy bands” (1 Tim. 2:8).

PRAISE WITH MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS: "Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel...Praise Him with the stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals" (Psalm 150:3-5).

PRAISE HIM IN THE DANCE: "Let them praise His name in the dance: (Psalm 149:3a).”Praise Him with the timbrel and dance" (Psalm 150:4a) "Thou has turned my mourning into dancing for me..."(Psalm. 30:11 a).

STAND IN REVERENCE: "Praise the Lord... Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord" (Psalm 134:1).

KNEEL: "Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our maker" (Psalm 95:6).

BEING SLAIN IN THE SPIRIT: "So that the priest could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord has filled the house of God.” (2 Chron. 5:14) "Suddenly there shined roundabout him a light from heaven and befell to the earth and beard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?" (Acts 9:3, 4).
